It’s not unusual for the temperatures to dip well below freezing during North Carolina’s winters. When it gets cold, you like to huddle up in your home, staying warm and comfortable. What happens if your furnace doesn’t work, though? Not having heat isn’t just uncomfortable. It can be
dangerous. Last Call HVAC Services provides furnace repair and replacement in Graham, Burlington, Mebane, and Chapel Hill.
By getting furnace repair, you ensure that your furnace is in the best shape possible to handle the cold winters. Regular repairs lower the risk for breakdowns, so you won’t have to worry about having an HVAC emergency during a cold snap. If you’ve ever suffered a breakdown, you know how important this is. What you might not realize is that HVAC repair can also reduce the amount you’ll spend on your furnace. First, regular repairs allow you to avoid catastrophic breakdowns that are expensive to fix. Second, furnace repair extends the life of your furnace, and third, it ensures the furnace is running efficiently. That reduces your heating costs every winter. There’s another benefit that’s often overlooked but is incredibly important. Getting timely repairs is the key to keeping your family safe. If your furnace has a crack or leak, your family is at risk. It could present a fire hazard, or gas could leak into your home. You can avoid these
serious problems with timely furnace repair.
The average lifespan for a furnace is 15 years. If you’re having problems with your furnace that’s 15 years or older, you likely need a new system. Last Call HVAC Services can evaluate your furnace to see if it’s time for this North Carolina HVAC service. There are other signs you can look for to determine if you need to replace instead of repair your furnace. First, do you get regular repairs, but your energy bill continues to increase? Your furnace is no longer efficient, so it’s time to consider replacing it. Second, consider how many times you’ve contacted an HVAC company for furnace repairs in the last two years. If the repairs have gone up in the last two years, it’s a sign that your furnace is on its way out. Third, check the distribution of heat. Are some of your rooms overly hot, while others feel icy cold? Your furnace cannot distribute the heat properly anymore, and it’s time for a new unit.

Last Call did the gas line hook up for a home back-up generator installation. They were selected by the generator company. Even though they are located out of my general area, they showed up on time. The work they did was first class. I am an engineer and picky about things like this. There was some question about whether my existing gas meter needed to be switched to a higher capacity unit. Rob took the initiative to fully research the situation and after determining that it did need to be upgraded, he also provided all of the info I needed to give to the gas company to request the meter upgrade. I would not hesitate to recommend them! - Above & Beyond
Truly the Last Call you will ever need. I purchased and had installed new heating and air system (from nuts to bolts) so to speak. I was and am very impressed with this company. The employees are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, etc. The heating and air unit is top quality and energy-efficient. I give this company a well deserved A+. - Bill and Martha F.
Great Customer Service. This company puts its customers first. They have a LIVE person always answering the phone which is great. Please give them a call they will fix all of your needs. - Larry B.
Valuable Knowledge. I never could get the second floor to cool on a rental property. Had already sunk money with another company who assured me a second zone dampening system would solve the problem so when that didn't do the trick I was cautious working with another HVAC concern. After a thorough site survey and discussion with LC supervisor, along with getting 2 other estimates, I gave the job to LC which included a new Coleman a/c compressor and gas furnace. Everything came out working just fine. They in addition added a bypass to the damper for better air control. Solved a years-old problem. Fast, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Gave them a second job for a new second zone Honeywell damper system at another location. Nice. - John T.
Very professional. After a house fire a few years ago, we called Last Call HVAC to install a completely new system in our home. They did something very few contractors do, they listened to our needs and did a wonderful job. We will never use anyone else for our HVAC needs. We have literally watched this business grow and they are great neighbors as well. Very considerate. Thank you! - Hattie S.
